We take great pride in our prep work, which is essential to each painting job’s success. We go to painstaking lengths to ensure all surfaces are properly prepared before we apply the topcoats. The next step is repairing and sanding drywall defects. We use a fine-grit sandpaper to smooth over imperfections and scrape off old peeling paint, smoothing over it and feathering the edges with sandpaper. We spackle and sand larger blemishes.  We then caulk all trim surfaces to be painted. Masking is an important part of the process so that paint spatter does not land on trim and floors. We run painter’s tape along the edges of door and window trim and along the top edge of baseboards where necessary.
